The Dakota TV stand is made from mango wood (sandblasted finish). Sandblasting reduces the nuances and variations in brown that are so characteristic of mango wood. The result is a more uniform, grayer color. This TV cabinet has two drawers and two doors.

Why do we call mango a sustainable wood?

Unlike oak trees, which take 50 to 100 years to reach maturity, mango trees are fast-growing. They can reach a height of 20 to 30 meters in just 15 years.
Once the trees reach maturity, they stop producing fruit (mangoes). As a result, they are felled and turned into furniture, so that new trees can be planted to harvest the fruit.
